Site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Campbell River, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 37,600-square-foot, two-story above grade stadium; for the construction of a 400-square-foot, two-story above grade swimming pool; for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.
Redevelopment of the Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex including the creation of a new aquatic centre, wellness and rehabilitation space, weight room, administration, and common spaces. TIMELINE: Designs are complete. Quotations for Sub trades has closed at the Construction Manager. Construction is underway on a new pool for Strathcona Gardens. Once the new pool is ready, the existing pool will be decommissioned to make room for the new wellness centre, which will include a large fitness area and wellness spaces. *Morrison Hershfield is Building Envelope & Energy Modelling consultant. *Cost of Phase 1 has been estimated at approx. 70 million.
