Question Submission Deadline:March 15, 2024, 5:00pm The Boone County Fiscal Court invites the submittal of bids for the replacement of the Cooling Tower at the Administration Building located at 2950 Washington Street, Burlington, KY 41005. The existing tower will be removed as part of this project. Bids received from bidders who did not attend this meeting will not be accepted. Scope of Work. Attending the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is essential to fully understand all aspects of this job. De-engergize system, lock and tag out Remove old parts and equipment Remove old tower with a crane, (crane to be provided by contractor) Set new tower Anchor tower Reconnect existing piping, electrical and controls Start up and inspect for proper operation Existing Cooling tower: Evapco AT-19-58. We are looking to replace this tower with the same type of cooling tower. Specifications may be downloaded electronically by visiting our electronic bidding website.
