This year, 70 establishments were targeted due to their dilapidated state. These inspections take place during the summer in order to make the necessary corrections before the start of the school year and thus prevent plaster from coming off during the year. Objectives: This expertise aims to provide a broader reflection on how to address the problem of plaster ceilings. Professionals will be called upon to develop a set of tools including both preventive solutions and the adoption of systematic procedures which, ultimately, will allow the CSSDM to secure and bring all buildings into compliance. Short term: develop new methods to mitigate the risks of falling plaster while waiting for a permanent project. Medium/long term: find permanent and adapted solutions to resolve this problem for all 70 buildings in question.
