Mark Outside of Envelope: Pipeline Row and Pond Maintenance Project Description The project involves clearing trees, shrubs, and other vegetation to reclaim the Right-of-Way (ROW) within 5 feet on each side of the City of Garland operated pipeline. The pipeline spans roughly 5 miles and goes through fields, residential and commercial properties 1. ROW Reclamation * Description: Reclaim approximately 5 miles of right-of-way (ROW) vegetation from the Ray Olinger Plant site plant at Lavon Lake to the valve site located at coordinates 33.092834, -96.368253. * Scope: Reclamation of vegetation along the entire 5-mile stretch. All road crossings, sign markers, and cathodic protection sites will be mowed, trimmed, and cleared of vegetation. 2. On-site Plant Vegetation Services * Description: Eliminate vegetation within the GP&L plant premises. * Scope: Remove all trees and vegetation along the riprap of the outfall structures on the west side of the plant. Treat cut-stumps with triclopyr or an equivalent herbicide. 3. Ponds 1-4 Vegetation Management * Description: Manage vegetation around Ponds 1-4. * Scope: Remove all trees along the banks of the ponds. Mow and trim all grasses and brush along the banks. Grind stumps from the removed trees 2 inches below grade to facilitate future maintenance. The City is not obligated to and may at its own discretion choose not to accept or answer questions received after that date.
