Contract 1A-2023 includes construction of a new Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) including a headworks building with influent pumping station, mechanical fine screen equipment, and vortex grit removal; a new oxidation ditch; a mixed liquor splitter structure; three final clarifiers; a cascade aeration structure; aerobic digesters with flat panel cover and a pumped decant system; a biosolids building with chemical storage and feed equipment, sludge pumps, blowers, and centrifuge dewatering equipment; a biosolids storage building; first flush tanks; an equalization basin; odor control systems; site utilities and a backup generator; site berms; a naturalized detention basin; a 24-inch and 54-inch gravity interceptor sewer; 48-inch outfall sewer to Jackson Branch; demolition of an existing sewage treatment plant; miscellaneous site grading, piping, landscaping, and paving work; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning work; interior process, pumping, and fire protection piping and appurtenances; interior painting and finishing work; and electrical and controls work.
