Completed plans call for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility; for the addition of a 80,000-square-foot, two-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility; 5,000-square-foot, one-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility; and for the renovation of a 50,000-square-foot elderly care / assisted living facility.
Maxville Manor is accepting Expressions of Interest to pre-qualify Construction Managers for pre-construction and construction services for a proposed addition and renovations to an existing Long-term Care Home, in Maxville, Ontario. The project involves a fully sprinklered, two-storey addition of non-combustible construction, of approx. 80,000 sq ft, single-storey additions of 5,000 sq ft, and approx. 50,000 sq ft of interior renovation to an existing Long-Term Care Home. The existing home will remain in operation during construction, and the project will occur in multiple phases. *Anticipated Construction Budget: +/- $50 Million. Construction is expected to begin by June 16, and be completed by 2029. G Architects, a Toronto-based firm, was granted the tender for design of the care home. Bourgon Construction holds the construction contract.
