N. Barfield & N. Collier Blvd Intersection Improvements Scope of Work : The project is located at the intersection of N. Barfield Dr. and N. Collier Blvd. in Marco Island, FL. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, adding through lanes on N. Barfield Dr, extending left turn lanes on N. Collier Blvd., and providing and installing traffic control systems, poles, mast arms, vehicle detection systems, pedestrian signals, and replacing existing asbestos-cement mains with new water mains, and reclaimed water mains. This includes associated disconnections, temporary and final connections, new valves, fittings, service line connections, and restoration activities. All water mains must be flushed, tested, and sterilized prior to commissioning. The project also includes curb and landscape removal, sidewalk and swale restoration, curb construction, and pavement striping. Work that impacts traffic shall be conducted at night. Questions Due 02/28/2025 5:00 PM The Method of Contractor Selection Has Not Been Determined at This Time. The date for Substantial Completion (as hereinafter defined) of the Work shall be within 335 calendar days from the Commencement Date. Bid Bond, in an amount not less than 5% Performance Bond and Payment Bond payable to the Owner, in an amount of 100 Percent of the total Contract price each in form and with security satisfactory to the said Owner, then this obligation to be void.
