Reference Number 0000344280 The Town of Snowmass Village (the town or owner) is seeking a contractor for Roofing Replacement at the Snowmass Inn employee housing development in the Town of Snowmass Village, Colorado (Project). The Intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to have a contractor (Bidder) submit a written response (Bid) to specifically address the services and materials required, fees, and provide a well-considered plan of execution for the Project. The Snowmass Inn is a housing project at 67 Daly Lane in Town of Snowmass Village owned and operated by the Town of Snowmass Village Housing Department. The complex consists of two three-story buildings located in adjacent to each traversing the hill between Campground Lane and Daly Lane. Both buildings are fully occupied year-round. The buildings were constructed in the late 1960's and updated in the 1980's, and are scheduled for a roof replacement. The roofing is generally performing well; however, the lifespan of the roofing materials and accessories is approaching their life expectancy and require comprehensive evaluation and replacement. Existing gutters are damaged, leaking, and/or not sloped properly. Some sheathing is soft and may be rotting. Some soffits are missing, leaking or rotted. Some eave and ridge venting may be blocked and/or not adequately sized. There is 110v heat tape, some of which may not be working.
