FOR INFORMATION CONTACT THE BUYER Jerry D Rush 304-766-3009 jerry.rush@wvstateu.edu Extended Description: Expression of Interest Request West Virginia State University is soliciting proposals for architectural/engineering design services and construction/contract administration for multiple roof replacement projects to be completed at West Virginia State University, Institute, WV per the attached specifications and terms and conditions. PROJECT: The mission or purpose of the project for which request for qualifications are being solicited is to provide necessary engineering, and other related professional services to design, specify and provide construction contract administration services for roof replacements to be completed for Cole Complex, Wilson Student Union, and Hill Hall. A pre-bid meeting will not be held prior to bid opening Project and Goals: The project goals and objectives are listed below. Vendors should discuss any anticipated concepts and proposed methods of approach for achieving each of the listed goals and objectives: 2.1. Goal/Objective 1: Review existing plans and conditions as well as the operation of the facility and evaluate while communicating effectively with the owner to determine a plan that can be implemented in a manner that will minimize disruption to concurrent operation of the facility and meet all objectives. 2.2. Goal/Objective 2: As a portion of this process outlined in Objective 1, provide all necessary services to design the facilities described in this EOI in a manner that is consistent with West Virginia State University needs, objectives, current law, and current code; while following the plan to design and execute the project within the project budget. 2.3. Goal/Objective 3: Provide Construction Contract Administration Services with Competent professionals that ensures the project is constructed and functions as designed.
