The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners is seeking sealed bids from qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing construction services for the referenced project which will consist of building renovations, site improvements to include asphalt paving, concrete sidewalks, expanding existing stormwater pond and other miscellaneous site improvements. Completion date for this project will be 210 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $200.00 per day If interested, qualified Consultants are required to submit the original and three (3) copies of the letter of response to the Management Services Department, 5-B East Jefferson Street Quincy, FL 32351 by the response deadline. The Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. This advertisement is to run 30 days prior to bidding. All Bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bid and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The County further reserves the right to award the agreement to that bidder whose bid best complies with the specifications. Bidders may withdraw their bid by notifying the County in writing at any time prior to the deadline for bid submittal. After the deadline, the bid will constitute an irrevocable offer for a period of sixty (60) days. Once opened, bids become a record of the County and will not be returned to the bidders.
