On behalf of the Town of Belmont, CHA Companies is seeking the services of a qualified firm to provide Independent Testing and Inspection Services for the Belmont Skating Rink The project will be a new skating rink to replace the existing Viglirolo Skating Rink in the same approximate location, at 297 Concord Ave., Belmont, MA. The new facility will be a steel framed structure on concrete spread footings of approximately 39,000 SF. In addition to the ice sheet, there will be locker rooms, changing rooms, Entry / Food Service area, as well as back of house spaces for Mechanical and Electric Rooms and Storage. New construction will commence in March of 2024 and be completed in approximately April 2025. The Project budget is approximately $29,900,000. The personnel assigned to the project shall remain for the duration and not be replaced without the Owner's consent.
