Renovation of an educational facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Board of Education of School District No.39 (Vancouver), hereafter referred to as the “Board”, is requesting expressions of interest from interested parties for the complete removal and relocation of a surplus outbuilding at Grenfell Elementary school, hereafter referred to “outbuilding block 4”, at no cost to the Board. The scope consists of moving outbuilding block 4, an existing 1911 structure of 437 square metres (4,703 square feet) to an off-site location of the proponents choosing. The structure has no historical designation and is not required to be preserved by the Board for future use. It will be the responsibility of the Proponent to assess the structure for their ability to withstand the rigors of the move and make structural reinforcements as necessary to ensure that each building retains its structural integrity during, and after the relocation.
