Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Greeneville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 36,111-square-foot municipal facility.

Specification Documents is attached on the Plans BRIEF PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of the renovation of the First Floor of the Former Takoma Hospital, approximately 36,111 square feet. Scope of Work to include minimal demolition, steel stud walls, doors, frames, suspended ceiling systems, gypsum board, associated finishes, pertinent mechanical (HVAC and plumbing), electrical system, and sprinkler system. Any/all debris will be disposed of at the Greene County Landfill. (NO SUBSTITUTIONS WILL BE ALLOWED). A 5% bid security is required. The bid security is to be made out to the Greene County Government. A Performance and Payment Bond will be required for the Work. Contractors submitting bids are mandated by State Law to be duly licensed and representative of classifications pertinent to the areas of the Scope of Work. All bids must be submitted on BID FORM furnished by the Architect. Bidding documents may be examined at the offices of the architect.
