As of January 3, 2025, per owner, project has been awarded. They are currently awaiting a final design and construction timeline. Statements of qualification to provide Planning/Design/Survey, Engineering, Construction Documentation, Cost Analysis, Specifications and Construction Administration related to the Main Street Revitalization Project. The Project will include improvements to sidewalks and crosswalks, median and street trees and landscaping, and decorative street lighting. It will also include a redesign of Centennial Park. It will also include a redesign of Centennial Park to create a more open public space. The projected total budget for this project is $1,500,000. The Project location includes portions of North and South Main Street and Kings Mountain Street which are SCDOT roads. The estimated length of the project on Main Street is 635 linear feet. Centennial Park is approximately 2,600 square feet.
