Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Hailey, Idaho. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The proposed Work consists of construction of the Colorado Gulch Pedestrian Bridge. This construction of the bridge will require the removal of the remnant concrete abutments out there now, new poured-inplace concrete abutments set on driven piles, and a steel truss bridge with wood decking that is prefabricated as described in the Project Drawings. The pathway is to be a natural pathway. Improvement/rehabilitation using natural materials like dirt or wood chips on an existing natural pathway that measures approximately 15ft x 450 ft, to access the bridge site, for construction and for pedestrian access after work is completed. In accordance with Idaho code, Title 67-2805, Blaine County is accepting Requests for Proposals (RFP) for the Colorado Gulch Bridge Replacement. Consideration will be given to all qualified contractors submitting a qualified proposal while also complying with RFP procedures and meeting the Scope of Work and Pre-qualifications, which are part of the Request for Proposal document package.
