15kV Breaker Bid Packet SCOPE These specifications are intended to cover the requirements for a three-phase, 60 Hertz, 15 kV Outdoor Vacuum/SF6 Circuit Breaker for use on a 12,470/7,200 volt distribution system. The Circuit Breaker shall be designed, manufactured, and tested in accordance with these specifications and all applicable sections of the latest revisions of the following unless otherwise specified. For purposes of this query we will consider the pre-approved manufacturers or a proven equivalent. If you propose an equivalent manufacturer, provide descriptive literature which demonstrates that our requirements are met. Huntsville Utilities is the sole judge of equivalency. Advise of manufacturer and model quoted. Advise of any price break quantities. Quote terms, availability, firm price, and FOB Huntsville, Alabama. However, we reserve the right to consider alternative pricing proposals or award of like items on a lot basis. Questions pertaining to the contract should be addressed to the administrator and contact person: Mrs. Miranda Duke (256-535-1435). Upon award, supplier is required to keep contact person informed of any new products that offer cost savings due to price, quality, or other advantages to either replace or supplement existing materials included in the contract.
