BACKGROUND: a. Lincoln Academy is a public charter school in Pleasant Grove, Utah teaching grades K-9. It opened in 2005 with 492 students, and currently has approximately 900 students. PURPOSE: a. This is a request for proposal, by Lincoln Academy, for the purchase and installation of network equipment including 5 year cloud subscriptions/licenses. EVALUATION OF PROPOSALS a. Each proposal received shall be evaluated for responsiveness as outlined in the Utah Procurement Code. This RFP shall be evaluated by the objective criteria described in this RFP. Proposals submitted must comply with the prerequisites and questions sections of this RFP. Any proposal that does not comply with the prerequisite and questions sections will be deemed non-responsive and will be rejected. b. Multiple or alternate proposals will not be accepted, unless otherwise specifically required or allowed in the request for proposals. If multiple or alternate proposals are submitted, the chief procurement officer or head of a procurement unit with independent procurement authority will only accept the primary proposal and will not accept any other proposals constituting multiple or alternate proposals. c. To be responsive and responsible submitters must review and respond to the following sections of this RFP: Prerequisites i. The Prerequisites Section contains the objective criteria that will be used to evaluate the proposals, including the mandatory minimum requirements and general requirements that submitters must certify that they have read, understand, and agree to in order to submit a proposal. d. Proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria: i. Configuration management with audit trail and roll-back ii. Automatic recovery from configuration mistakes iii. Separation of control plane and management planes for switch stability iv. All devices must have built-in stacking ports v. Cloud management including configuration backup and restore and zero-touch provisioning vi. Local management including CLI and Web UI vii.
