The following scope of work is being proposed for the 2024 Reclamation Project for the City of Auburn. The scope of work is a brief overview of the expected extent of work on each street included in this contract. This is only a proposed scope with associated estimated quantities. Items, extent and entire streets may be added or deleted as work progresses or to meet the available funding for this work. All work must be completed from 7:00AM to 7:00PM. The completion date for this project is November 15th, 2024. Liquidated damages of $500/calendar day will be assessed on uncompleted work. Standard AIA Document A312-2010 Payment and Performance Bond forms will be accepted as an alternate Bid Bond form A bid bond shall be submitted with appropriate bid forms in the amount of 5% of the total contract value. Also, payment and performance bonds will be required from the contractor who is awarded this contract. Retainage in the amount of 10% will be held from each progress payment and shall be released at the discretion of the Engineer. Payments shall be made by the City to the Contractor 30 days after receipt of the request for payment.
