Sealed bids will be accepted by Los Angeles County Public Works, Project Management Division III, for Contract F, under which the future proposed projects will consist of the following types of work: installation, modification, and repair of traffic signals, streetlights, and guard rails, in addition to performing other traffic safety related work such as striping, signage, curb ramp modifications, and other incidental and appurtenant work under Contract ID No. TDS0001831, On-Call Traffic Signal and Safety Construction Contract F, Fiscal Years 2023-27, in the South region of Los Angeles County. The dividing line between the North and South regions of Los Angeles County, for the purposes of this contract, is the intersection of the Interstate 5 Highway (I-5) and the California State Route 14 (SR 14) at Santa Clarita. Pursuant to State Public Contract Code, Section 3400, the Board of Supervisors made a finding that Ameron Contemporary Series Poles Type 1 C1 Octagonal Concrete Poles are designated by specific brand name to match the existing street poles. Future proposed project Plans and Specifications designate street poles to be manufactured by Ameron. The work under Contract F shall be done in accordance with the Specifications on file and open for inspection at Public Works. The workis estimated to cost between $4,250,000 and $5,250,000 and shall be completed over the period of one year on an on-call basis. The prime contractor shall possess a valid California Class A and C10 contractor's license.
