Reference Number 0000344401 The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is soliciting bids from general contractors, construction managers and other businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein for the repurposing of the McNamara Parking Deck's Level 7 CTX Scanner room to parking spaces at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). The project includes converting the following areas to parking: Level 7 Luggage Handling area, Level 10 chiller unit area, Level 6 conveyor room, and the Level 5 conveyor room. In general, this will involve the removal of walls, fencing, curbs, ceilings, flooring, railings, and steel framing; the removal and/or modifications to the electrical/mechanical/HVAC/fire protection/communication/security systems; placing concrete slab at floor openings, locating and saving the communications/security systems; constructing new CMU walls; replacing floor sealants and installing waterproofing membrane, striping, bollard installation, and other related work as noted in the Construction Documents.
