A. Section Includes 1. Work of the Contract is shown and described in Drawings and Project Manual entitled Sheridan Road Booster Pump Station Contract No. 1 - DWSRF-7285 Town of Harvard February 2024 Tighe & Bond, Inc. Consulting Engineers Worcester, Massachusetts 2. The Work includes the following major items: a. Construction of a new water booster pump station with appurtenant process, mechanical, and electrical equipment. b. Site work, utilities, drainage systems and improvements to existing access road. c. Connections to new 12-inch ductile iron transmission mains installed by others under Contract No. 2 - DWSRF 7285. B. Related Requirements 1. Section 00800 - Supplementary Conditions The goals for this project are a minimum of 4.2 percent D/MBE participation and 4.5 percent D/WBE participation by certified DBEs. The work consists of constructing a booster pump station and related site work. The booster pump station will include two booster pumps, one high demand pump, chlorination, a generator, and other electrical components. The booster pump station will serve the Town of Harvard but is located within the Devens Regional Enterprise Zone. The project is funded by the Massachusetts State Revolving Fund. Estimated Cost $1,200,000
