Work includes rehabilitation of existing 250,000 gallon welded steel single pedestal elevated water storage tank including full containment, low pressure water cleaning of exterior, sandblast cleaning and painting of interior and exterior, interior painting includes interior dry insulative coating system for areas in contact with wetted areas (i.e., interior dry bottom of bowl, interior dry inlet/outlet pipe, and interior dry access tube for roof access), removal and proper disposal of waste, duck bill check valve, removal and replacement of OSHA compliant interior ladder including safety climb system, removal and replacement of center roof vent and vent stack, removal and replacement of seal caulk at lower tank flange and concrete foundation/ringwall (full base cone circumference), tank disinfection, all appurtenances and minor details necessary to make the completed improvements fully operational with the project specifications. Prospective bidders are highly recommended to complete a site visit to review limiting site conditions/ constraints and site access. Outer Road, Suite 205, Arnold, Missouri 63010, after February 27, 2024, by paying a nonrefundable amount of $60 for each set of specifications. Outer Road, Suite 205, Arnold, Missouri 63010 The Owner requires the Project to be completed in 150 calendar days from the Construction Start Date as stipulated in the Notice to Proceed. Work to be completed in Fall 2024 with work being completed after Labor Day (September 2, 2024) or in Spring 2025 by Memorial Day (May 26, 2025). Notice to Proceed will be issued accordingly based on work being completed in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Sum. The bid security shall be either certified check, cashier's check, bank money order or bid bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Missouri. Hereinafter this bid security shall be referred to as the bid bond. Submit one copy of your Bid on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Your Bid submittal will be required to be under a condition of irrevocability for a period of Ninety (90) days after submission.
