Kennedale ISD requests Lump Sum Proposals for the following project: SCOPE OF WORK: Scope: Roof Areas (A- L) 1. Roof areas A- L are to have the existing roof system removed to the deck substrate. 2. Flat Roof Areas: Install insulation, with gypsum type cover board, and a new built-up modified bitumen roof system that consists of 3 Ply Type VI with FR rated 250 granular cap sheet, as specified over roof areas of air conditioned space. 3. New pitch pans, and flashing metal, as specified. 4. Refer to Section 03000 for Asbestos Survey Report, follow appropriate procedures for removing asbestos in Section 22623. 5. Provide walk pads as shown on roof plan. 6. Repair roof deck as needed (include in bid 20 squares of metal deck repair / replacement of Type F 22 gauge metal deck or applicable new deck profile to match existing deck profile). 7. Remove existing sealant at all vertical wall joints, clean, and grind before installing new backer rod and sealant. Scope 2: Sloped Metal Roof Areas (R-Panel Type Roof System) 1. Metal Roof areas to be cleaned, replace fasteners, and covered with a Reinforced Fluid Applied Coating as necessary to fully cover the existing metal roof panels and flashings (see Section 07 56 00).
