No bidder may withdraw their bid after the hour set for opening until after the lapse of sixty (60) days from the bid opening. The Schiller Way Envelope rehabilitation project consists of the installation of new windows, doors, and painted fiber cement siding over a rain screen membrane in all 24 units of this property. The alternates are 2 trash enclosures to renovate, a swing door alternate and 8 radon piping gyp. bd soffits to install in living rooms of 8 units. The buildings will require 3 backflow prevention upgrades (See Alternates). Questions posed during the tour that are not addressed in the Solicitation will be answered by addendum. Home Forward has an established goal of 30% participation by COBID and/or Underutilized Business Enterprise (UBE) firms. Prime contractors who do not meet the 30% goal will be required to submit proof that good faith efforts have been made to contract with these subcontractors. This project is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wages.
