Site work for a transportation facility in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

TriMet requires one of the following with the bid: TriMet's bid bond (see Section 4 - Bid Forms), a cashier's check or a certified check for 10 percent of the bidder's total bid price, or an irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706. 008 for that amount. If a bidder conditions the bid bond to provide for the possibility of payment of any amount less than 10 percent of the total bid price, the bid bond will not be accepted, and will cause the bid to be rejected as non-responsive. Bidders are advised to read Paragraph 00215 in the Bidding Requirements and Conditions Section of the General Provisions, entitled "Bid Security," and to comply with the requirements of that Section. 6. A 100% payment bond and a 100% performance bond on TriMet's own bond forms will be required prior to beginning work. Contractors must be licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) in accordance with ORS 701. 005 prior to submitting their bid and must file a public work bond with the CCB. 7. This solicitation is for a public work subject to Davis-Bacon Act (40 U. S. C. 3141 et seq) and State of Oregon, Bureau of Labor and Industries (ORS 279C. 800 - 279C. 870) prevailing wage rates. Bidders must certify compliance with prevailing wage rate requirements as referenced in the Special Provisions and Exhibit 1. All questions regarding this Invitation to Bid should be directed to Ian Bethards-Nelson, Contracts Administrator at bethardi@trimet. Org. TriMet's general order of magnitude for this project is estimated to be in the range of $700,000.00 to $1,200,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The major elements of the work for this package consist of: 1. Selective site demolition and grading, trenching, and aggregate base courses. 2. New concrete drive and driveway apron, concrete curbs, AC pavement drive aisle, pavement markings, and striping. 3. New security fencing and motor-operated sliding gate, bollards, poles, and card reader pedestals. 4. Exterior lighting, electrical and communication pathways and infrastructure, access control, and security infrastructure and pathways. Requests for clarification must be received by TriMet's Procurement & Supply Chain Mgmt. Department on or before March 19 at 1:30 p.m. (Local Time). TriMet will not consider requests received after the specified deadline.
