The City of Davenport is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the FY 2025 Iowa DOT Full Depth Patch Program. The proposed improvements consist of removing and replacing full depth P.C.C. pavement and other work related thereto of various State routes within the City of Davenport, Iowa. Locations of probable patches are attached at Attachment A; the list is subject to change based upon new priority pavement failures that may occur during the contract period. The proposed work includes all labor, materials, tools, supplies, utility and transportation services, equipment and all incidentals necessary for the Bid #24-83 FY 2025 Iowa DOT Full Depth Patch Program. For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. Working Days - This contract is contingent upon a signed agreement between the City of Davenport and the Iowa DOT, which states work cannot begin until July 1, 2024. Work can start on or after that date, and must be completed by October 25, 2024. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities, if it is deemed in the public interest to do so. Questions Deadline: 3/8/2024 11:00 AM (CT)
