The City of Redlands Facilities and Community Services Department is soliciting bids for Generator Repair Service and Preventative Maintenance - Rebid. The successful bidder will be issued an annual purchase order ("contract") for fiscal year 2024-25 (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025) with optional extensions Scope of Services The City of Redlands Equipment Maintenance Division is inviting bidders to submit bid proposals for Generator Repair Service and Maintenance. The Division manages a mixed fleet comprised of 500+ vehicles and pieces of equipment. Included in this total are 13 stationary and 4 portable generators. The stationary generator provides emergency backup power to various City buildings, Police Department, Recreation Centers, and appointed evacuation centers; allowing all departments including City Clerk, Building and Safety, Information Technology, Human Resources, Management Services, Engineering, Development Services, and Facilities and Community Services to continue providing City and emergency services during a power outage. The portable generators provide power for special projects in remote areas, backup power to smaller facilities, and for special City events. The City of Redlands is seeking a vendor to provide the most reliable, responsive level of service, with the highest standards of performance while providing the best value to the City. Proposers must be a full-service business with the capability to provide all the following services for the aforementioned 14 generators in a timely manner. These services include but are not limited to performing complete mechanical and electrical repairs, PM A, PM B, 2 hr. load bank testing, and after-hours emergency response repair services.
