The Russell Township Recreation Complex project (RTRC) has been value engineered to cover a Gross Floor Area of approximately 12,979.56 square meter, and a total building area of 12,682.83 square maters within one storey + mezzanine. The project will be located at 150 Sportsplex Street in Embrun, ON beside an existing sports dome facility. The recreation complex's ground floor allowed for three (3) NHL sized arena rinks, aquatic pools, a community hall, and all associated services such as dressing/ change rooms, spectators seats, kitchen and bar. The project is funded by the Township of Russell. Construction is anticipated to begin in the late Spring of 2024 with a two (2) year construction schedule and expected completion by the end of Summer of 2026. The Commissioning Authority (CxA) must report results, findings, and recommendations directly to the Project Manager, Turner and Townsend, representing Russell Township. The objective is to deliver a well-commissioned building, in conformance with industry best practices and in compliance with Annex 47 of the International Energy Agency, Energy Conservation in Buildings and Community Systems Program Only vendors invited to quote on the project shall be allowed to submit RFQ Documents. The Township reserves the right to invite additional vendors to respond to this invitation, in its sole discretion. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all RFQ Documents or accept all or any part thereof.
