Site work for a water / sewer project in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project will involve installing an 8" water main in two design phases along Springfield Road. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security shall be certified bank check or a bid bond. The City of East Peoria reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, award shall be made to the low, responsible Bidder after the Bid evaluation has been completed. The work consists of the following: 1. Phase 1 to start immediately with the installation of approximately 5,100 feet of 8" water main along Springfield Road. 2. Phase 2 to start immediately following Phase 1 with the installation of approximately 3,435 feet of 8" water along along Springfield Road. 5. The above general outline of principal work tasks does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish the required materials, equipment, labor, safety programs, and means as shown or required by the Contract Documents.
