Audubon Golf Course Driving Range Expansion The work is to furnish all equipment, labor and materials to expand the existing golf driving range at the Audubon Golf course. Work will include minor site improvements to allow for installation of additional golf stations. New playing surfaces and sidewalk to consist of 4 inch reinforced concrete pavement to match existing driving range construction. Contractor is responsible to obtain all building permits (all fees waived). All Contractor work shall be as per the design plans and in accordance with the contract documents. Each bid must be accompanied by the deposit of a certified check, payable to the Town of Amherst, or a bond in a penal sum equal to fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500), conditioned that if the bid is accepted, the Contractor will enter into a contract for the same, and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Upon acceptance of their Bid, if the successful bidder fails to enter into a Contract pursuant to the requirements of the Contract Documents, or fails to give the further security prescribed in this Notice, with the same time limited therein, then the check/bond deposited as aforesaid and the monies standing to the credit of the same, shall be forfeited to the Town as liquidated damages, or the payment of the bond enforced for the benefit of the Town. The Town of Amherst reserves the right to waive informalities in or to reject any and all bids.
