The Council has decided to reject the proposal and shelve the project indefinitely. The City of Lone Tree is soliciting proposals from a qualified contractor/vendors to design, fabricate, deliver, and install roof mounted and ground mounted, utility-interactive solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The contractor/vendor must demonstrate the ability to perform the work described in the scope of services set forth in this solicitation and have demonstrated experience successfully performing comparable work. The contractor shall install the project such that it is operational and compliant with all applicable standards, building codes, Alliant Energy interconnection requirements, and State and Federal requirements, as applicable. The contractor shall include specifications, calculations, and drawings in the design package and submit it to the City of Lone Tree for review and approval. After approval by the City of Lone Tree of the final design package, the contractor shall provide all necessary construction services to successfully complete the PV system installation. The awarded contractor shall apply for and manage incentives and rebate funding and renewable energy certificates (RECs) paperwork. RECs will be the property of the City of Lone Tree unless otherwise noted. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 at Lone Tree City Hall. The Conference will begin at 10:00AM. Prospective bidders will have the opportunity to ask questions of City staff and inspect the installation sites. Alternatively, a Bidder may schedule an independent inspection of the installation sites. Attendance at the conference site inspection or an independent inspection is a factor in the bidder selection process.
