Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kankakee, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of May 10, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on May 21, 2024. This project consists of Workforce Development Center Roadway Improvements Questions during the bidding process should be emailed to Neil Piggush (npiggush@piggusheng.com) and Jackie Liebermann (jliebermann@piggusheng.com). The questions will be addressed via an addendum that will be issued to all plan holders. Questions will continue to be addressed throughout the bidding process until 48 hours prior to the bid opening. Questions submitted after this date will not be addressed. Work may begin immediately upon fulfillment of contractual, insurance and bond requirements and it is expected by the Owner that substantial completion shall be accomplished by July 26, 2024. Final completion of all punch list items shall be accomplished by July 29, 2024. Accompanying this proposal is either a bid bond on Piggush Engineering, Inc. form, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the Piggush Engineering, Inc., or a proposal guaranty check consisting of a bank cashier's check or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. Bank cashier's checks or properly certified checks accompanying bid proposals will be made payable to Kankakee Community College.
