Renovation of a detention facility in San Rafael, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The project entails installation of new in-line exhaust fans serving the eight (8) isolation rooms, in two pods. Install new exhaust ductwork, exposed in the corridor. Connect new exhaust fans to existing Delta Controls building management system. Install new breaker and starter in existing panel. Install new conduit and wiring to power each new exhaust fan. Perform pre and post testing as outlined in contract documents as well as post balance in accordance with TAB specification. All work shall be completed within sixty (60) working days counting from and after the first counted working day, and with such extensions of time as are provided for in the Special Conditions A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal. The provisions of California Public Contract Code 22300, regarding substitution of securities for monies withheld to ensure performance shall apply to this contract. These wages are set forth in the General Prevailing Wage Rates for this project, available at the Department of Public Works. Prevailing Wage rates are also available at the State of California Division of Labor Statistics and Research website The question deadline has been extended to 4pm today, 3/19/2024.
