Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Innisfil, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of April 9, 2025 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. The Town of Innisfil is seeking to engage the services of a qualified Design-Build team, to work cooperatively with the Town to complete the Design and Construction for the new Margaretta Park within the Sleeping Lion Development. The works include but are not limited to: finalizing the design and construction of earthworks, site servicing, electrical services, washroom/summer camp building, splash pad, playground, parking lot, landscaping, and site furnishings. The design, supply, and installation of the playground and splashpad will be completed by ABC Recreation Ltd. through a novation agreement between the Town and the successful proponent. The term of the contract is anticipated to commence in February/March 2025 and will be effective until the completion of the Project including warranty timeline which is anticipated to be until May 31, 2028.
