The work consists of Schedule No. 1 and two Options. The scope of this contract is for maintenance dredging of Gulf Intracoastal Waterway High Island to Causeway reach. Dredging to occur between GIWW sta 163+000 and sta 321+000. Estimated Volume is 730,000 CY. Placement areas are upland confined, semi-confined, and open water. Option 1 - Maintenance dredging of GIWW Alternate Route. Dredging to occur between sta -5+000 and sta 8+200. Estimated Volume is 193,000 CY. Placement area is open water. If awarded, an additional 30 calendar days will be added to contract duration. Option 2 - Maintenance dredging of Channel to Port Bolivar, North Ferry Channel. Dredging to occur between sta -00+30 and sta 10+000. Estimated Volume is 88,000 CY. Placement area is Semi-confined/open water. If awarded, an additional 15 calendar days will be added to contract duration. 1. Completion Time for Schedule No. 1 for this project is estimated at 150 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in an amount to be determined for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. 2. Other Information: n/a 3. The solicitation issued will be a firm-fixed price contract award. Estimated magnitude for this effort is estimated between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. 4. Bonding Requirements - The Contractor will be required to provide the Performance and Payment Bonds within 5 calendar days after award. The contractor shall begin work within 10 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. 5. Furnish pre-award documents within 2 working days after Bid Opening. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
