The Brazos River Authority (BRA) will be accepting sealed bids from contractors to provide firm pricing for Sodium Hypochlorite (12.5%) concentration that meet the requirements of this solicitation to be delivered to the Sugar Land North Wastewater Treatment Plant (SLNP) located at 16450 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas 77478, and Sugar Land South Wastewater Treatment Plant (SLSP) located at 4802 Scenic River Drive/Oilfield Road, Sugar Land, Texas 77479. The term of this Contract shall be for a period of one (1) year, commencing on the Effective Date, and may be renewed by subsequent agreement of the parties for up to four (4) additional one (1) year periods, for a total potential term of five (5) years. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible Respondent. The executed contract between BRA and the selected Respondent shall be a BRA standard form contract. Contract terms are not subject to modification and Respondent will be expected to execute the contract in substantially the form provided. Respondent should not base a bid on an expectation that BRA will modify its contract terms. The BRA reserves the right to inspect and test the submitted product. The BRA in its sole discretion may disqualify a submitted product as non-conforming to the specifications if the product does not meet the requirements of the specifications during testing.
