This work shall consist of furnishing all equipment labor and materials, for the installation and maintenance of all temporary and permanent erosion control and tree protection items with the exception of permanent vegetation. This item includes, but is not limited to the installation of inlet sediment protection, silt socks, construction entrance, protective fencing and other means of tree protection shown on the plans. The contractor shall make periodic but no less than weekly inspections of these facilities to ensure the facilities are adequately maintained and operated. The Engineer may require additional methods of erosion control to be installed if necessary to adequately protect adjacent property and control silt from exiting the site. The project consists of the construction of approximately 593 linear feet of storm sewer ranging in diameter from 15 inches to 36 inches, light stone revetment; area inlets, manholes, junction boxes; and site restoration including sod.
