Renovation of a fire / police facility in Bellevue, Nebraska. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
As of April 17, 2024, no bids were received. No definite date for the rebid. A. Work under this contract includes all material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services, and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete, in a workmanlike manner, the Work required for this contract. B. Scope of Work in This Project: The general scope of Work in this project involves the replacement of existing aluminum window and door systems found on the existing Bellevue Fire Department District #3 fire station. Work includes, but is not limited to the following 1. Removal of aluminum window units on the original portion of the building as indicated on the associated project plans. 2. Removal of aluminum door systems tied into adjacent storefront framed windows. 3. Installation of new aluminum window and door/window combination units at locations indicated on the associated project drawings. Window installation also includes new operable window units at designated locations and with aluminum exit/access doors as noted. C. Work Schedule Within Building: Work may begin immediately upon the Notice to Proceed issued to the Contractor. The project site will generally be available for access through the course of the project. The existing fire station will be occupied during the project window and there will be times where work access will need to be coordinated between the selected contractor and Bellevue Fire Department/City of of Bellevue personnel. Final completion of work will need to be attained by September 30th, 2024 to fit within annual budgeting parameters established by the City of Bellevue. construct the Bellevue Fire Department District #3 Replacement Windows Project, 9400 S. 36th Street, Bellevue, Nebraska Each Proposal shall be made on a form furnished by GP Architecture, LLC and the City of Bellevue as included in this Project Manual and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid price, made payable to the City of Bellevue, which shall be considered as liquidated damages, and shall be forfeited to the City of Bellevue if said Proposal or Bid is accepted, and the Bidder fails to execute the contract and file the required bond as provided in the specifications. Bid Bond must be executed by a duly licensed corporate surety. Checks accompanying Proposals not accepted shall be returned to the Bidders. The City of Bellevue reserves the right to waive informalities, and to reject any, or all bids.
