Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of May 14, 2024, This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the Drawings and as described in the Specifications. The work consists of the construction of improvements including the demolition of existing facilities, expansion of membrane treatment facilities, and other miscellaneous systems at the Water Treatment Plant and the replacement of pumps and associated electrical systems at the Weston's Mill North/South Pump Stations and the D&R Canal Pump Station. The work is located at the City's water treatment plant - 1 Comstock Street, Weston's Mill Pump Station - 1 & 2 Burnet Street and D&R Canal Pump Station - 1010 George Street in the City of New Brunswick and includes: site work, water treatment process and general construction. The work shall be completed within 420 calendar days of the Contractor's receipt of written Notice to Proceed. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
