The City of Fayetteville is soliciting bids for the Warmsprings Drive Drainage Repair DAP. The Project includes the following Work: Installation of three storm manholes and approximately 103 LF of 24" RCP storm pipe, 63 LF of 36" RCP storm pipe, outlet headwall, gabion baskets and riprap for stability of slopes and channel bed. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Warmsprings Drive Drainage Improvements DAP The Project has an expected duration of 180 days For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Question Deadline 03/26/2024. Owner on its own initiative may issue Addenda to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents. Addenda will be issued no later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the Bid Opening. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to City of Fayetteville in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates). Bidders must submit an acceptable bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check as Bid Security with their Bid pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 143-129. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of Contractor's obligations under the Contract. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. Any bid including any unit or lump sum bid price that is unbalanced to the potential detriment of the City will be considered irregular and may be rejected.
