Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Eldon, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The City of Eldon Board of Aldermen has approved replacing the flooring at the Eldon Community Center. The Community Center is located at 309 East 2nd Street, Eldon, MO 65026. The City is looking for flooring options for the entry way and two meeting rooms known as Room AB and Room C. These are high traffic areas and the City is requesting the following to be included in the submitted bids; For tiling of the entry way, Room C and gymnasium stage which contains approximately 1,850 sq. feet; o IIC Sound Rating (ASTM E492): 35 o Residual Indentation (ASTM F1914): Passes o Dimensional Stability (ASTM F2199): Passes o Resistance to heat (ASTM F1514): Passes o Critical Radiant Flux (ASTM E648): Class 1 o Slip Resistance (ASTM C1028): ADA Compliant o STC Sound Rating (ASTM E90): 52 o Static Load (ASTM F970): 250 psi (<.005") o Chemical Resistance (ASTM F925): Passes o Resistance to light (ASTM F1515): Passes o Optical Smoke Density (ASTM E662): <450 o FloorScore Certified: Yes o Wear Thick: 20 mil 1/8 thick 4' rubber cove base. For carpet tiles in and Room AB and office space approximately 1,850 sq feet: o Face/Yarn Weight: 16 oz. minimum o Construction: Tufted loop/tip shear/cut pile with lifetime warranty against fray, edge ravel, zippering and delamination o Dye Method: Solution or yarn dyed o Fiber Content: Commercial BCF Nylon type 6 or 6.6 o Density: 5,500 oz. or greater per cubic yard o Gauge: Minimum 1/10" o Stitches: Minimum 9.0 per inch o Warranty: 10-year commercial wear o Flammability: Pass pill test, ASTM D-2859 o Critical Radiant Flux: Class I; not less than .45 watts ASTM E648 o NBS Smoke Density: (NFPA-258), less than 450 o Static Control: S/B ATCC-134, less than 3.5 KV o Adhesive for Installation: Solvent free o 1/8 thick 4' rubber cove base. Carpet tile should be approved by the Carpet and Rug Institute's Indoor Air Quality Testing Program. Any variance in floor products bid shall be pre-approved by the City of Eldon. If the variance product wears out, bidder will be required to replace the product at no charge to the City of Eldon.
