The City of Auburn (KY) will accept Proposals for a Personal Services Contract from a KYTC pre-qualified engineering firm for planning, design, construction administration and other required engineering services associated with the proposed Pedestrian Park Improvement Project. Firms wishing to be considered should request a copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for Personal Services Contract from the City of Auburn and submit the proposal & statement of qualifications (not exceeding 10 pages) to Attention: Mike Hughes, Mayor; City of Auburn; 103 East Main Street; Auburn, Kentucky 42206. Firms responding to this request will be ranked according to the information submitted. The City will enter into negotiations with the highest ranked firm to execute an engineering services agreement. If the parties are unable to negotiate a satisfactory agreement, the second ranked firm will be contacted. Once a firm has been selected, all unsuccessful firms will be promptly notified. Sources of funding may include, but are not limited to, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet TAP funds and other local funds. The City of Auburn reserves the right to reject any and all responses, to waive any technicalities, and to negotiate with the respondent who most nearly meets the project requirements. The City is not responsible or liable for any costs incurred by consultants replying to this request.
