This document constitutes a Request for Proposals for a Professional Service Contract from qualified individuals and organizations to furnish those services as described herein for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Highways. County - Fayette Route - KY-4 Item No. - 7-462.00 Project Description - Safety improvements to New Circle Road between Development Drive and Bryan Station Road. State funded component of federal grant received in late 2023. Project Manager - Robin Sprague, P.E. User Division - Highway Design Approximate Fee - $525,000 Preliminary Engineering & Environmental Services (Lump Sum) Project Funding - SLX & SS4A (Federal Funds) Project Length - Approximately 1.4 miles The Consultant team may include a DBE Participation Plan with their full Response to Announcement to help the Department meet the 11.95% DBE goal established by FHWA. First Selection Meeting: April 8, 2024 Final Selection: April 24, 2024 Pre-Design Conference: May 1, 2024 Consultant Fee Proposal: May 10, 2024 Contract Negotiations: May 22, 2024 Notice to Proceed: June 12, 2024 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
