The project includes replacing the existing culverts and headwall beneath Pine Street (T-769) as well as installing an 84" circular CMP pipe with head- and end-walls. There are also vehicle-rated guiderails and paving restoration . Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Surety Company's Bid Bond on the form provided in the Bid Documents, naming as payee or Obligee, Windsor Township, Berks County in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid submitted. The Surety Company must be acceptable to the Township. No bid may be withdrawn after the above-specified date for receiving, opening, and reading of bids, except as specifically may be provided by law. Wages paid are subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961, P.L. 987 as amended and supplemented. All Contracts exceeding $10,000.00 shall be performed in compliance with Executive Order 11246, entitled, "Equal Employment Opportunity," as amended by Executive Order 11375 and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR Part 60). In addition, all Contractors shall comply with the "Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause" as required by Pennsylvania Executive Order 2016-05.
