Renovation of a fire / police facility in Surprise, Arizona. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Design, construction, and outfitting (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) of 15,000 square foot police substation. The site includes parking sufficient for patrol, staff, and visitor vehicles. These facilities will accommodate 48 Patrol Officers and house offices for 1 Commander, 3 Lieutenants, 6 Sergeants,2 Administrative Specialists, 2 Community Service Officers, briefing rooms, a fitness center, locker rooms, a break room, holding cells, interview rooms, temporary evidence lockers, and site improvements The project is included in the City of Surprise's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of January 16, 2026, an architect and construction manager at risk have been selected. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
