**As of May 30, 2024 , This project has been awarded to ControlTouch Systems, LLC, with the awarded amount of $2,884,760.28.** Question submission deadline: 3/15/2024 2PM EST All questions or requests for clarification regarding the bid documents or the project are to be submitted by email to the Office of Procurement via email at procurement@pvdairport.com The scope of work for the Outbound BHS shall be as described below and as outlined in detail in Division 34 77 16. 1. Introduction: a. This project will replace the existing upper level controls and lower level controls of Baggage Handling System (BHS) and TSA baggage screening function in the existing bagroom of Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD). b. The existing upper level controls including servers, workstations, and network switches shall be removed and replaced. New upper level servers including two (2) fully redundant fault monitoring servers, two (2) fully redundant database servers and network switches shall be provided in the existing control/server room. Two (2) new workstations shall be provided in the existing control room; each new work-station shall be provided with two (2) new 20" monitors and one (1) 24" monitor. Five (5) new 55" LED graphic displays with computers for displaying the CBIS/BHS statuses shall be provided; the existing control room shall have two (2) graphic displays, the maintenance office shall have one (1) graphic display, and each CBRA room shall have one (1) graphic display. c. All existing PLCs with redundancy modules and ControlNet devices/components in the existing PLC enclosure within the existing control/sever room shall be removed. The BHSC shall provide four (4) new pairs of hot-backup PLCs with new redundancy modules, and EtherNet/IP devices/switches/components as required to have a fully functional CBIS/BHS as specified herein. d. All existing MCPs shall remain; all existing ControlNet devices/components shall be removed. The BHSC shall provide new EtherNet/IP devices/switches/components as required to have a fully functional CBIS/BHS as specified herein. e. The existing two (2) Automatic Tag Readers (ATRs) for baggage sortation shall be replaced with two (2) new ATRs. f. The existing human-machine interface at each existing MCP shall be replaced with a new 15" human-machine interface. g. The BHSC shall replace the existing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) with new VFDs. h. The outbound BHS shall be divided into functional zones as described below for North and South Systems. The BHSC shall provide a BHS that complies with these operational, functional, and performance requirements as described below.
