Renovation of a library in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
This project consists of the replacement of an existing air cooled chiller with an Owner provided new air cooled chiller. Associated Work is included. Question Deadline 03/14/2024 at 3:00 PM CT Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request to the Project Manager Email requests are required and should be addressed to the Project Manager, cindy.klotz@cityofmobile.org. Review of & compliance with the contract documents, review of existing conditions, coordinate all work with other trades to complete the scope of work as required for the crane lay-down, removal and replacement of the existing air cooled chiller/chilled water piping/valves/accessories in the chiller yard with a new Owner furnished air cooled chiller. Contractor shall complete all work per plans, notes, schedules, details and comments as required for approval. The library shall be without HVAC for a maximum of six (6) hours. Contractor shall prepare the site and have all necessary equipment for the replacement ready to assure a smooth and on time replacement. The new chiller is expected to leave the factory on May 1, 2024, and will be delivered directly to the jobsite approximately 3 to 5 days later. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation may be required.
