The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Eustis, is conducting market research to gain knowledge on interest, technical capability, and financial capacity of potential qualified firms with capacity to replace the floor of the Maritime Firefighting Trainer for the Maritime and Intermodal Training Department (MITD). The current flooring is original to the Trainer and will be removed before new non-serrated galvanized flooring is installed. Responses to this Source Sought will be used by the Government in making appropriate acquisition decisions to include extent of competition. This Notice is for informational and market research purposes only. Period of Performance (POP): The period of performance is below: 3 June 2024-1 October 2024. This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for planning and information purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it restrict the Government regarding the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice.
