The City of League City seeks competitive bids for supply and delivery of Pool Chemical Services. The purpose of these specifications is to describe the minimum requirements of the City of League City for the goods and services described. The quantities in the Invitation to Bid or attached quantities are estimates based on previous usage. These estimates are for acquainting the bidder with probable quantities to be expected during the contract period. These estimates are not intended to set forth minimum or maximum quantities of this contract and shall not be construed as such. The City requires two (2) types of pool chemicals for regular delivery. Liquid Hypochlorite (Chlorine) and Sulfuric Acid 35% a nonfuming acid. The City also requires dry chemicals delivered on an as needed basis. Dry Chemicals include: Sodium Bicarbonate, Cyanuric Acid, Calcium Chloride and Sodium Thiosulfate. The City has two (2) pools to which chemicals will need to be delivered: Hometown Heroes Park Pool located at 2105 Dickinson Avenue and Walker Street Pool located at 450 West Walker Street. Parks and Recreation must have msds sheets for all chemicals. Owner Rights: The City of League City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to accept any bids deemed advantageous and to waive irregularity in the bids. By bidding, the bidder acknowledges and will adhere to all bid specifications as stated within this bid packet. Only the services submitted and listed in this bid package and included in any addendums will be considered. All bidders must meet or exceed the minimum specifications to be considered as a valid bid. The City of League City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any bid, waive minor technicalities and award the bid either to the lowest responsible Bidder or to the Bidder who provides goods or services at the best value for the City of League City. The City shall consider all factors it believes to be relevant in selecting the offer that provides the best value for the City including, but not limited to: (a) adherence to service description/specification/qualification requirement; and (b) price. The City of League City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or combination of bids deemed advantageous to it. Deadline for Submitting Questions Monday March 13, 2024 at 5:30
