The selected Contractor will be expected to perform general sign maintenance, of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals, and for doing all work necessary for on-call services consisting of new installations, repairs, resetting and replacements of old, damaged, knocked down signs within the City of Ranch Cordova. This RFP contains all the information and documents necessary to prepare and submit a responsive proposal. Proposers are cautioned to read all the documentation provided. Proposers will be responsible for complying with all requirements identified herein. The City expects any contract resulting from this RFP to be in effect for a period of three (3) years, with an option to extend that contract for another two (2) years upon satisfactory completion of work. Deadline for written questions/clarifications: March 6, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. (PDT) Response to written questions: March 7, 2024 The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularities in any proposal, to sit and act as sole judge of the merit and qualifications of services offered, and to accept the proposal which is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City will award any agreement based on the most responsive proposal, which includes the most advantageous pricing, quality and suitability of services for the City's particular needs. Additionally, the City may, for any reason, determine not to award a contract as a result of this RFP. Any contract resulting from a submitted RFP is expected to be from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2027. If mutually agreeable to both parties, any resultant contract may be extended for an additional one (1) year term. However, in no case shall the contract be extended more than two (2) additional years. Failure of the Contractor to diligently prosecute the work as defined herein will be considered as grounds for termination of the contract. Failure to provide an adequate working force shall be considered as grounds for the termination of the contract. This contract may be terminated by the City upon thirty (30) calendar days prior written notice addressed to the last known address of the Contractor. In the event of such termination, the Contractor shall be paid for all work which has been completed up to the effective date of such termination.
